The European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC) is an annual event that brings together young cybersecurity talents from across Europe to compete in a series of challenges. The ECSC is an initiative by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and is hosted by a different country each year. The competition aims to raise awareness of cybersecurity and to connect high potentials with industry leading organizations.
Each participating country selects a national team of 10 talents to represent them at the ECSC. The teams compete in a series of challenges that test their skills in various cybersecurity domains. The challenges are designed to simulate real-world scenarios and require participants to demonstrate their technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities.
ECSC2023 in Norway hosted 29 teams from EU Member States and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries and 5 guest teams from all over the world.
The ECSC2025 will take place in Warsaw, Poland as from 06th until 10th October. We count on you to improve the LU score in 2025!
Team Luxembourg has been participating in the European Cyber Security Challenge since 2019. The team is composed of 10 young talents who are selected through the LCSC. Together, they prepare for the challenges they will face at the ECSC. The team represents Luxembourg at the ECSC and competes against other European countries to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in cybersecurity.
